Using a template is an excellent way to make forms predictable, of a certain scale, and achieve consistency when making multiples.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn this workshop, Nadine will guide students through the process of turning a 2D pattern into a 3D vessel. Templates will be provided but it will also be possible to alter the template forms if desired. This workshop is beginner friendly and offers a very approachable introduction to the process of template design and slab building.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003eThe bisque firing of one 6x6” piece is included in the workshop fee. Students may return to glaze fire by submitting the work for outside firing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNadine Sobel is a  ceramic artist from New York. She graduated with a BFA  from Alfred NYSCC in 2006. She has been working with clay for over 15 years.
