Colorobbia lusters are used to embellish glazed ceramic work. Test tiles show lusters on satin and gloss glazes.
NOTE: These products are only non-toxic after firing. Do not stir or shake. Luster must be applied outdoors. When wet, luster releases toxic fumes. Our studio ventilation and spray booth is not designed to handle fumes. Luster must dry outdoors for a minimum of 4 hours up to 24 hours depending on the amount applied. When there is no longer a detectable scent the work is safe to enter the studio.
Directions:
Using a clean brush evenly coat a small amount of luster to an already fired object, as desired. Do not let the glaze pool. Opaque when applied. Allow to dry, then stilt and fire to Cone 018-015. Clean brushes with Essence and let dry.
