In this handbuilding based workshop, Bobby will guide students through the process of making beautiful and functional birdhouses perfect for hanging on your favorite neighborhood tree, or placing atop your apartment roof! Students will learn the basics of coil building and receive technical assistance and support in making design decisions to ensure a well constructed and long lasting home for birds is achieved.This workshop serves as an excellent introduction to coil building for beginners yet is adaptable for experienced students to explore more intricate designs.
The bisque firing of one 7”x7” birdhouse is included in the workshop fee. Students may return to glaze by making a glaze appointment.
