A fun, spooky ceramics class made just for kids ages 7-12!

Fire flickers inside a bright orange pumpkin, tiny bat shadows flit across your walls, and ghost eyes glow warmly from the candle within. In this (fun)ctional handbuilding workshop, kids will learn slab-building basics while making a one-of-a-kind votive candle holder. It can be any animal, creature, or object they imagine.
Gracie will lead kid-friendly, step-by-step demonstrations on building a strong tea candle holder that's totally unique to each student. Along the way, young artists will pick up slab-building skills and learn to add fine details that bring their spooky creation to life.
Note: Workshop includes the bisque and glaze firing of 2 pieces. Students get to select 1 glaze per piece which will be finished by BKLYN CLAY staff and available for pick-up in 2-3 weeks.
Recommended for ages 7-12. No experience needed.
